What this app does

Sailing Tools turns your iPhone or iPad into a large, readable racing display:

• Speed over ground (SOG) in knots
• Course over ground (COG)
• Heel angle (after level calibration)
• Race countdown timer
• Custom layouts and presets
• Session history, track review, boat profile, and sharing (where available)

The app works offline while racing. It uses your device GPS and motion sensors — not boat electronics.

Device requirements

• iPhone: any supported iPhone with GPS
• iPad: cellular iPad with GPS (Wi‑Fi-only iPads without GPS are not supported)
• System: iOS / iPadOS 17 or newer
• For long races, a USB power source is recommended
